The Open Fibre Data Standard (OFDS) Workshop will bring together stakeholders from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem to advance the development, governance, and sustainability of the OFDS. Hosted at the Giga Connectivity Centre in Geneva, the three-day workshop will focus on three core areas: governance, technical development, and long-term sustainability.
Participants will work toward establishing a multi-stakeholder governance model, shaping the technical roadmap and tooling for OFDS, and outlining a sustainability plan to support the standard’s continued growth and adoption. Sessions will explore open standards frameworks, collaborative decision-making, validation tools, and resource planning. The workshop aims to ensure that OFDS evolves in a way that meets the needs of regulators, operators, civil society, and technical partners, while building an inclusive and resilient community around open fibre data.
