About Government Technology Exchange Programme
The Government Technology Exchange Programme (GTEP) is a bi-annual event that brings together government leaders and key stakeholders from countries where Giga works to learn about the tools we offer and exchange insights and lessons learned in their journey to connect every child to information, opportunity and choice. Hosted at the Giga Technology Centre in Barcelona, GTEP is a unique opportunity for stakeholders to share ideas and collaborate on how open-source solutions can help us achieve universal school connectivity.
Highlights
The first GTEP took place from May 20-24, 2024, coinciding with the launch of Giga’s flagship product, Giga Maps. The event brought together government delegations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, and Sierra Leone, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing on advancing school connectivity.
