Giga Government Technology Exchange Programme (GTEP) 3

The Giga Government Technology Exchange Programme (GTEP) brings together public sector leaders and technical experts to explore how open-source tools and data can help close the school connectivity gap. This third cohort, hosted at the Giga Barcelona Technology Centre, will welcome delegations from Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Tanzania.
Over three days, participants will engage in expert-led sessions, product deep dives, and co-design workshops focused on digital infrastructure planning, inclusive GovTech, and scalable procurement strategies. The programme also includes curated site visits across Barcelona’s innovation ecosystem. GTEP supports cross-country learning, strategic collaboration, and the development of actionable national plans to accelerate school connectivity.
