Giga Connectivity Forum
July 8 - July 10
Co-hosted by ITU and UNICEF, the Giga Connectivity Forum brings together leaders in education, digital infrastructure, and public-private partnerships to advance the goal of connecting every school to the internet by 2030. Now in its second edition, the 2025 Forum will welcome high-level representatives from countries engaged with Giga, alongside private sector partners, development organizations, and members of the UN system.
Participants will take stock of progress in school connectivity, share lessons learned, and explore new tools and approaches developed under Giga, including innovations from the Giga Barcelona Technology Centre. The Forum will also mark the official unveiling of the Giga Connectivity Centre in Geneva. Through curated sessions, networking opportunities, and collaborative dialogue, the event will strengthen cross-sector partnerships and support countries in accelerating school connectivity at scale.
